ABOUT
J. A. Rossignol is a writer based in rural Maine, USA.
He's had numerous articles and short fiction published in "Scary Monsters", a nostalgia-oriented, internationally distributed magazine featuring all things related to classic horror. He's also competed and placed in multiple writing contests through Vocal.media. Additionally, J has recently signed a contract with Solstice Publishing for his debut Urban Fantasy novel, "Hell-come Home Ezzy".
In a past life, J was an IT Systems Engineer as well as a competitive martial artist, cyclist, and runner. When he lost his health to Lyme Disease and co-infections, he was forced to let go of the profession and activities that he'd loved and learn new ways to express his remaining vitality. He discovered that there was a gift hidden in his loss and turned his disability into an opportunity to pursue his lifelong dream of writing urban fantasy and horror novels.
When not writing, J can often be found somewhere along Maine's dramatic coast, where many of his ideas have been inspired, including his debut novel: One day on the coast of Maine, after observing an island that only became visible during the lowest of tides, he thought, "What a great place to hide a vampyre!"
"Hell-come Home Ezzy" was born...
